August 2017 Wrap Up

Another great reading month! I’ve had a lot of time but that lots of time to read will be gone for the next ten months. Which is completely ok because I’m excited for what’s in store for me 🙂 24 books … that’s almost one every day of the month! I’m even more excited about it because at the beginning of summer I had set out to read all the books I had bought and stored at home. I had a huge list of 65 books! I can say that at the end of this month I officially have only 8 left! Now I guess it’s really 11 because during this month I may have broken my no buying book ban and treated myself to three books … but those are a reward for myself I swear! hahah. I was also sent some amazing books from Berkley Publishing! See anything you’ve read? You want to read? thoughts?

I know I know I’m terrible at keeping up with this! But I stand by my, it’s better late than never! I read some absolutely amazing books in March. I’m finding I really like YA contemporary with some type of mental health in it, maybe it’s the mental health worker in me that is so drawn to them. I’m on a bit of a mission to try to get the books I have bought and have at home unread, all read. It’s going to take a while but it really would be nice to be able to go to the bookstore and buy a book and open it up and read it, without it sitting on my shelf for 5 years.

January 2017 Wrap Up

January was a fabulous reading month for me. I had a lot of time off of work so I was able to do a lot of reading. I do fear that all this reading is going to put me in a bit of a reading slump, so I have no idea how my February 2017 wrap up will look like. As of right now, I really don’t want to read anything! That’s a scary thing to say. I did manage to read 12 books in January. Have you read any of these books? Any look interesting?

I haven’t decided yet! I’m either going to go for something short and light, because I’m trying to tear down my TBR list, or something I’m super excited about.

Favorite Book this Month:

This is a hard one but as you can see I got super into the High Heels Mysteries, so one of those would be my favourite, I can’t choose which one!

Books I bought this Month:

I’ve been trying very hard not to buy any books because like I mentioned I’m trying to get through my bought to be read list. It was at 78 books and I have it down to 63 books which is amazing to me! But I completely fell in love with the cover of this book and the colour I had to go buy it!

Wayfarer (Passenger, #2)

June 2016 Wrap Up

I would say that June was a good reading month! I read 8 books and am currently still on a huge roll with the reading. I’m also off work for the next two months, so I plan on tackling my TBR list big time! Only problem is, well I’m a bookworm. So naturally I find myself getting more library books and wanting to go to the bookstore, and looking at pictures on Instagram. Which only leads to a bigger TBR list!

In other news I’ve been in contact with some lovely people over at Berkley Publishing. They noticed through my Instagram that I absolutely love cozy mysteries, and contacting me to ask me some questions. In exchange they have offered me some free books! I don’t have as much time to read because work is taking over all my time, but I do read as much as I can!

I read some fantastic books this month, and maybe bought a little too many books, but I can’t help myself! Also my list of books keeps growing and growing. I’m offically putting myself on a book buying ban. I have to read some of the books I got the past two months, but it doesn’t help that it was my birthday this weekend and I got a nice book haul as well as a ton of gift cards to buy more books.

I read a total of 5 books this month, one was Game of Thrones which took forever to finish.

Which of these books have you read? Did you enjoy them, not enjoy them? How about my books I plan to read in March? See any favorites?
