Holy Cow the year is more than half way done! That feels absolutely insane. I work a lot, but my work is off/hours down for the summer, so I had planned to do all this reading in the summer. Only to find that I’m out doing other things rather than reading! So I was a little disappointed that I didn’t read too many books in July. Here’s to hoping that my August read list is a bit longer.
My fave book I read in July was Finding Audrey! The book I’m most excited to read in August is Summer at Tiffany’s!
What books have you read this month? Which was your fave read? What book are you most excited to read in August?
Here’s what I read this July and a very brief sentence about how I felt about the book.
Saranormal The Secret’s Within might be a tween book but I love this series 🙂 I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.
I got Cocktails at Le Carmen from NetGalley and was so pleasantly surprised at what a great women’s fiction book this was. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars
I waited for months for Peaches and Scream to come out and devoured it as soon as I got it, I was not disappointed! I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
The Isle of the Lost was a good book with a classic Disney twist. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.
Anna and the French Kiss really surprised me, I’m not a fan of romance in novels, but I adored this book. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
Drape Expectations is another book I got off of NetGalley. It was my first by Karen Rose Smith and I was not disappointed! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
Throne of Glass was a pretty good read for me, it personally didn’t live up to the amount of hype it has but I loved Chaol and Celaena so I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.
And Then There Were None was an absolutely amazing mystery. I now want to read all Agatha Christie books. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children was a little different than I expected but I enjoyed it anyways. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.
Finding Audrey was a classic Sophie Kinsella, hilarious, heartfelt, and all around amazing. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars, and it has become one of my favourite books.
